ACTIVITY:

Per Oddvar Johansen has worked professionally since 1990, and has played all over Europe in different settings.He has three spellemannspriser (Grammy`s), two with Vigleik Storaas Trio and one with Petter Wettre, and was rated second in the international competition EUROPEAR JAZZALDIA 1994, at the XVII Festival de GETXO in Spain, with The Source. Received Preis Der Deutsche Schallplattenkritik, with Trygve Seims recording Different Rivers (ECM) in 2001. He is one of Norways leading drummers. He also composes, and some of his music has been recorded on several albums.
